Duckarespades1 - Awesome

I'd like to devote this entry to :iconduckarespades1: His art has improved with each submission, and for all his great work.. he is hardly recognized. I suggest you check out his gallery. He's got some really great works of art and is still continuously improving. He uses a detailed and different style. It sets a neat twist on things. I would post images.. but I'm not subscribed, sadly.

Personally I find his work to be very interesting.

LG Dare [VX9700]

I just got an LG Dare last night, as so far, I love it. It's got a nice comfortable design and a sleek interface. I'm enjoying the call quality and ability to customize. There's a lot of nifty features. The capability to change fonts and have an animated wallpaper is pretty awesome as well. So far, the only thing that sucks about the Dare, is it's lack of custom themes. There aren't any on the net yet, and I doubt any will pop up. Aside from that, it's an awesome iPhone alternative.

It's only been a few days, so I'll update this in a few more.

Well, ducedoobie searched for a while, and finally found out how and shared the info with me. We thought it'd be nice to share with anyone wishing to know.

Go here appdb.winehq.org/objectManager… this is were you will find these instructions:

Firstly, Load terminal (Applications > Accessories > Terminal)

Secondly, Type "wine regedit" and press enter

Thirdly, Navigate through to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Wine

Fourthly, Unless the folder Direct3D is already present in Wine, right click on the folder Wine and choose New > Key. A new folder will appear, name the new folder "Direct3D" and press enter.

Fifthly, Select the new folder named Direct3D and right click in the main window with the (Default) Key in it. In the right click menu under key, choose String Value. Name the new key UseGLSL. Double click on the new key named UseGLSL and set the value data to "disabled". Click OK and exit regedit.

Sixthly, Re-run the game.


That's for guild wars specificly, this might work for your other games:

As for being able to select towns, make sure you turn off the eye-candy (compiz) in system -> Preferences -> appearance -> visual effects.
